Miss blogspot.com

Hi pretty ladies! Sigh, I have not been active for quite some time, well there are so many reasons behind that. Since this is my blog, I want to enumerate them and share it with you :(
  • My digi cam has retired already and there are so many things I want to take pictures of to share it here
  • So maybe you're thinking why not your phone's camera? Well 2 days after my camera broke my N95 phone that got a decent camera died also. Suddenly the display was just black I already asked a cellphone tech what's the problem he said it's the LCD which is an expensive part of a cellphone so now temporarily I'm using Zano's phone that has a poor camera resolution.
  • Tabachuchay's nanny left last week so me and Zano are taking care of her full time, good thing his schedule changed so the rest days changed as well we alternate on taking care of her, so I have less sleep lately or sometimes no sleep at all and both of us are working. I don't complain huh, I love spending more time (all of my time should I say) with her.
  • Tabachuhay was sick last week, for 3days she had fever then after the fever her measles came out but this one is not the fatal one, it's called "tigdas hangin". According to her Pedia it's pretty normal nowadays to children her age because of the freaking weather
  • I was sick last weekend, yeah that is right, we just stayed at home during Mother's day because I had fever and cough.
  • Last week blogspot.com was blocked here in the office, and I was super pissed cause I can't access my blog and the blogs I followed religiously and when I'm at home I don't have time to surf the net because Tabachuchay had all of me, again I am not complaining hehe. Good thing now it's accessible again yey! Suck IT guys big time if they blocked this site forever!
There you go, those were my frustrations or unfortunate events that had happened but hey nothing will stop me from blogging and doing what I love so I will make more more efforts to blog more, I have lots of products to try and review. My first project is to buy a new cam and fix my phone, I am just waiting for a particular budget for that. Hooray for midyear bonuses etc.As of the moment, I don't badly need a nanny as Zano and I are still enjoying taking care of Tabachuchay full time, she is so sweet now to us unlike before she just loves her yaya hehe, but definitely will be needing a nanny soon, the house is such a mess I'm telling you.

On the brighter side, I am pretty excited for my weekend getaway with my two sisters from different mothers hehe, my two bestfriends. We will be flying to Zamboanga this Friday to attend my bestfriend's older brother wedding, yehey for that! I will have quality time with them since I missed them a lot because ever since I got married I just had like once in a blue moon time with them. I will leave Tabachuchay to my mama and papa since Zano has work during weekends. Will take lot of pictures there for sure, courtesy of my bestfriends' cameras hehe.

Oh I super miss blogging, I am starting to catch up to my fellow bloggers site and hopefully get more followers as well hehe.

Will blog more soon promise! :)

As usual I should post something here that will somehow brighten up my post hehe so here it is:

Nyx Roundlippies Review

Hi pretties! huhu I've been a bad blogger, haven't login to my page over the weekend thus the lack of posts. Anyway as I have mentioned in my previous post here is my say on my Nyx Round lipsticks: Tea Rose and Circe. I have seen a number of bloggers that own the Tea Rose and I thought they really look pretty on it so I ordered it hehe. It is a pink shade that is not that loud, IMO you can wear it everyday especially when you are on a date, that you want to look sweet or pa-tweetums hehe. I am glad I have it because the hubby said it is nice and it looks pretty on me. :) Here's a swatch of it.

Tea Rose

Now ladies be ready to be scared, here's me sporting my current fav pink lipstick: Nyx rd lipstick Tea Rose:

See it's not a pink loud color on me, doesn't look nude or natural either just the right shade of pink. In this FOTD I used the Ellana concealer that I got as a free sample and the Ellana Foundation as well, I love them because they made my skin looks flawless in this picture without whitish cast on the camera's flash.I also used my In2it Blush in Denial just to give a natural look.
Now the second Nyx Round lipstick that I got was Circe, a pretty nude shade. It's a bit lighter than other nude lippies that I swatched before but that is on my skin I think. So here's the swatch of it:

Circe

I have to swipe it like 3 times before it will create a visible color on my lips. I can say that this shade is truly a nude lipstick, hehe look at the color on me:
(Warning: Picture is really scary!)

Took this on a Natural lighting since I really look like a zombie with the flash on
Sorry for the eyebags!

I hoped the swatches and FOTDs helped you on seeing the shade of the lipsticks.  So here' s my review on the lippies:

Yehey! Factors:

  • very affordable (160 pesos for each tube)
  • creamy texture, so the application is a breeze
  • love the staying power, I ate and drink that time and it stayed the whole afternoon, didn't bother to retouch since the Tea Rose still looks good after lunch. For Circe I retouched it after 4 hours
  • didn't dry my lips
  • For Tea Rose, 1 to 2 swipes will gave my lips the fab look already but for Circe it took 3 to 4 swipes, so I guess it depends on the shade you will use
  • there is a shade indicator at the bottom of the tube so you'll know the color of it without opening or reading the label
Boo! Factors:
  • my number 1 will be the scent, it's like a flowery scent that really annoyed me, but good thing it disappeared after a while like 15mins I don't smell it anymore maybe because I put Carmex before the lipstick
  • IMO I don't like the packaging, the color is nice it's in black but I don't like that the label is on sticker. Well taste is subjective right? hehe
  • not available locally, I have to order it online and have to rely on swatches online
  • Very creamy that I think it will tend to melt if not stored poperly
Overall, I think the cons are not that major except the scent, hehe so I love the lippies. I recommend it to everyone it's worth a try if you still haven't.

I will end this post with my eBay haul, I received yesterday:

My revlon blush and blemish concealer

Super excited to use them. Will review them after a week of usage hehe, will do another FOTD as well so I hope you don't get annoyed of my face..hehe

My newly acquired lippies

Hi ladies! I hope everyone's enjoying their vacation and of course don't forget to pray, have more time with God. Well, sadly I am working in an American company so we don't have holiday. Zano (the hubby) is working in a BPO company so no holiday as well. :( I am just thinking about the double pay for these holiday on my next pay out. Normally during Lenten season we go home to Pampanga wherein there is a big 'Prusisyon'. I really love Prusisyon in the provinces specifically in our home town they are really different compared to cities. For Zano, during Good Friday, his family goes to Tagaytay to visit the 'Pink Sister's Monastery'. Last year we were lucky to go to both, Pampanga for the Prusisyon and Pink Sister's at Tagaytay, Tabachuchay was just 2 months old back then. Now I guess will be just staying at home then go to church in the evening. I am just blogging my sentiments for this Holy Week. Anyhow as you can see the title of my post is about lipsticks hehe so here it goes. Pretty Ladies I want you to meet my newly acquired babies:

Nyx Round lipsticks: Tea Rose (left) and Circe (right)

A new addition to my mini stash. Again forgive me for the blurry photos. :( Got them on Digital Traincase online store again. Before I just ordered Nyx lipglosses so last week I availed their famous round lipsticks. Will do a review together with a FOTD using these two this weekend hehe have to prepare myself for that. So that is the good news, on a not so good news, look at what Tabachuchay did on one of my favorite Natural shade lipstick:

Avon Moisture Rich Sheer Liptick in Sheer Mauve

Poor lipstick. huhu! This is actually the second time, the first one was my Nivea Lip balm. Well lesson learned: When you are busy doing your make up, make sure that your kit is unreachable for kids like Tabachuchay. After what happened, Zano and I bought her, her own lipstick:

Tabachuchay starting her love for lipstick! hehe

It is actually a whole set of Kikay kit toys, it will be her starter kit hehe! So there you go, watch out for my review for the Nyx round lipsticks.

Have a blessed holy week pretty ladies!

Mahalo! :)

I love Sample Packs: Ellana and Mario Badescu

Last week I availed Ellana 's free sample packs online, I just paid the shipping fee. Isn't that great? hehe I'm such a sucker for 'free stuff', well who doesn't?! Ms. Coney the distributor of Ellana products in our country was nice, I just emailed her once and she replied right away and even gave me all the details for the courier etc and that's another great thing not to mention that I just ordered the free sample pack. hehe. I am so excited to use these already, I have tried the concealer on my under eye area and I was amazed, will do a FOTD with them.

Here's my sample pack. They are in a ziplock plastic and an Ellana brochure :)
Consist of 3 Foundation, 1 blush, 1 concealer and 1 Finishing Powder

Yesterday I received these:

It's my package from the beautiful Janet. Click her name to visit her blog, be sure to follow if you haven't yet. hehe. I got the Mario Badescu sample pack from her when I joined her giveaway last weekend and the sweetest thing is she has included some goodies and a cute letter. hehe

And of course the star of the package:

My Mario Badescu sample pack.Consists of the following: Drying Cream, Seaweed Night Cream, Flower & Tonic Mask, Super Collagen Mask and Cucumber Cleansing Lotion. Yehey super excited to try them as well. I have a big zit right now and last night I used the 'Drying Cream' from this package and it dried my pimple. Indeed it is a drying cream, hehe. I promise will do a review for these wonderful products, I wish they will do wonders on me just like what it did on Janet's. By the way thanks a lot Janet for the MB products and the whole package, hope you read this. :)

It's holy week already and I hope everyone will enjoy their vacation and don't forget to pray.

Mahalo :)

* Sorry for the blurry photos, my camera is acting up again, I guess I need a new one. :(

My lips' secret

I have been battling for more than a decade (a bit exaggerated lol) on my dry chapped lips. Especially when I was in High school wherein we were in the country with extreme weather. Yes, we were in Saudi Arabia before with my Mama and Papa then I just went home for college, but that's another story. The weather in Saudi Arabia consist of summer and winter and when I say extreme that means when it's summer it's really hot, you can probably leave an egg outside then after like 20minutes it will be hard boiled egg already. haha Well, I guess the hottest temperature that I experienced there was like 40 Celsius degree but of course we don't stay outside so we don't feel that. After 6 months of summer, winter will enter and it's also extreme wherein I wear 4 garments all at the same time, thick garments huh haha! Oh I miss Saudi. Anyway I am not here to talk about that! So on to my lips, considering the changing of weather in Saudi Arabia before it affected my skin and my lips as well they were really dry.The condition of my lips didn't change even when I was here but my skin did it became really oily. As I've said I had dry chapped lips since like forever so I always look for lip balms that will solve this problem. I have tried bunch of them, both expensive and not, some are okay but did not last that long, I mean they don't satisfy me. They will work for a while and then after sometime it will stop. When I got into the beauty blogosphere I have read a lot of raves on the Carmex lip balm.

I got the Carmex Lip Balm in tube

I bought this hoping that it will answer my prayers, hehe. Yes this product is okay, it moisturizes my lips and I love the minty effect of it plus the very affordable price but I need to reapply it every 10 minutes because the good effect doesn't stay long. Nevertheless I still use it so that I won't waste my 99 bucks. Then one time when I was in my 'suking' parlor I saw their display of Human Heart Nature Products and these were not new to me since I have read great reviews of them. So I got their feminine wash and Human Nature Lip Balm in watermelon.

 I got the watermelon

When I used it I fell inlove with them right away, it tastes yummy and wow my lips were super moisturized and noticed that they are not dry and chapped anymore. Yipee! I observed on how long will this result last on my lips and guess what they are still moisturized after 3 hours working in the office. When I use this, I swipe it on my lips for like 10 times hehe I think that does the trick but then I wanted my lips to look glossy and healthy at the same time because with this my lips look pale it is great if I put lipstick on but I am not used into putting lipstick when at the office or at home, so I use the HHN lip balm then topped it with Carmex and in my surprise they jived well into my lips, it gave the most moisturized lips and healthy looking as well, not the pale dry chapped lips anymore. I used these two then I just put what ever lipstick or lip gloss that I prefer and it doesn't dry my lips. Now I can say that my lips have found its soulmates hehe.

Mahalo :)

*Pictures were taken from google images. Sorry wasn't able to get pictures of them since I am still in the office and I really want to share the lip balms with you pretty ladies..hehe

A good haul

Don't you just love it when you get discounts or great deals from department stores or anywhere? I just want to share these few items that I got that last Monday. You might think that the blue bag is a freebie for the celeteque products lol. Nope, I got them separately, I bought the blue bag at Robinson's Department store for only 50 bucks it was discounted from 150 pesos, what a great discount right?. It's not that big but it's perfect for my growing stash of make up. I put my make ups on 3 different pouches so this is great, I can put them all in here. Then the Celeteque moisturizer. I have been on a hunt for a moisturizer and this was on a buy1 take1 promo for only 129 pesos. Thanks to Kikay si Maria and I saw that they were on a promo. I've been using it since I bought it, and so far so good, hehe. Crossing my fingers that my skin will love it. Will post a review soon. That's it pretty ladies, been very busy this week here in the office so I can't make any sensible post hehe.

Let me end this with my red notd
This shade is one of my favorite aside from 'Pussy Red' hehe.

Hope you had a great week ahead ladies.

Masking On

One time I visited Purederm  website and I answered one of their Quiz I can't remember the exact title of it but it was like about your skin type. Then the result was: "You have oily skin". There you go, haha actually before I took that quiz I was really anticipating for that result since I know I have oily skin which sucks big time! Well, life must go on, that is why we have a lot of beauty products to live by and  to conquer this oiliness situation. Let's go back to the quiz, hehe let me share with you the result and some helpful tips from them:

From the email sent to me:
Quiz 2 Result:

It’s likely you have OILY SKIN.

Generally, your face appears shiny. You often feel the need to wash your face or touch up with face powder. Oily skin may be prone to acne and blackheads, but it is also least susceptible to wrinkles. That means you have a higher chance of aging quite gracefully!

Make sure you go for non-comedogenic products: they feel light on skin and won’t clog your pores. For quick cleansing, bring along Acne Wash Cleansing Tissues: they contain tea tree oil, aloe vera, and salicylic acid which help get rid of pimples. To keep your skin supple, treat yourself to a Strawberry Yogurt Pack, a quick and easy wash-off mask that purifies and prevents breakouts. Also, try Aloe Nose Pore Strips to unclog pores and remove blackheads.

See? Not a good result I think, huhu but good thing there were suggested products and some tips to help me. As an obedient student, lol I bought this:

When I saw it in SM beauty section I didn't hesitate to buy one because of its affordability, it costs P49.00 only for a 10ml pack unlike other masks that would cost way higher than this. So I tried it, just followed the instructions at the back (sorry didn't get a picture of it). Apply it to a cleansed face, massage gently and leave it for like 5-10 minutes. Rinse with warm water.

Tabachuchay: "Mommy what happened to you?!" lol

I love the smell, strawberry of course, I am not fond of that fruit but the scent was really delicious it make me want to eat it hehe. After I massage it on my face, I felt a bit of a stinging effect and there were parts that it was itchy but I just ignored it. It also gave me a feeling of that when you are having a hair hot oil treatment but this time on my face, it was warm. Because of these I just left it on me for less than 5 minutes. Then the result:

Sorry for the scary eyebags and acne scars. :(

Good thing, the result was okay, it left my skin moisturized and it gave a me flushed look, which is okay for me 'cause I don't have rosy cheeks hehe!

Yehey! factors:
  • very affordable
  • loving the scent of delicious strawberry
  • the 10ml pack is too much to cover the whole face, IMO you can use it twice
  • love the moisturized effect it gave me
  • I have used it last weekend and I until now it had lessened my oiliness
  • it has English instructions (some of imported masks do not have)
  • did not have allergic reactions
Boo! factors:
  •   this is just me, it gave me stinging feeling at first so I thought it was harsh
Overall, I love it. Inexpensive yet very effective. I would definitely purchase again.

Review: Myra Vitaglow Tinted Moisturizer

I have read tons of great reviews for this product. Since it's inexpensive and available locally I grab it right away at Watson's. I love the sheer coverage of it, there's a special glow on my face when I put this on. It is my best bet during my lazy days which is like everyday hehe I use this then the powder. I really like this product, you can use it everyday and not that dangerous in my uber oily skin hehe. I mean it doesn't oil me up right away. I just retouch with my powder then everything's okay again. Then the sensitivity of my skin took over and broke me out. :( (Sigh) So I stopped using it. After 2 weeks I tried it again because I really want this tinted moisturizer to work on me but again it broke me out.  :(

Yehey factors:
  • inexpensive
  • super easy to find, can buy it all SM Beauty corners, watson's, Mercury Drug, convenience store etc.
  • moisturizer and a little coverage in one product
  • safe to use everyday
  • very light on the face
Boo factors:
  • it broke me out :(
  • there's a bit shimmery effect
  • gives whitish cast on photos
  • gives very light coverage but I think tinted moisturizers are like that, I dunno please correct me! (This is my first tinted moisturizer hehe)
So there you go, this is one product that I want to love but my skin won't let me. Still it is a good buy. I've read a lot of bloggers who fell inlove with it and didn't break them out.

I want to buy a BB cream or try other tinted moisturizers, any suggestions pretty ladies?

My favorite lip gloss

Aside from natural shades of lipstick, I am now starting to like shades of pink on me. Last month I got my hands on this Nyx round lipgloss in Baby Pink. I have been reading a lot of great reviews about Nyx products, although they are not available locally, we can still get our hands on them thanks to local resellers.

Pretty ladies, presenting Nyx Round lipgloss in Baby Pink: :)

At first I was quite hesitant to put it on, I was really afraid that I won't pull it off. It is so light with shimmers on it. But when I tried it on,  I fell in love with right away.

So on to the short review...
Yipee! Factor:
  • you will see the color right away in one swipe
  • not drying
  • cute packaging
  • inexpensive (200 +, oh my I already forgot)
  • sturdy doe foot applicator
  • easy to apply with the doe foot applicator
  • transparent tube so you will see how much of the product is still there
Boo! Factor:
  • not available locally but thanks to Ms. Sol for making Nyx products readily for us
  • there is a scent that really bugs me, I dunno it's like plastic
  • it is quite sticky though I can't really compare it to other lip gloss since this is my 2nd lip gloss aside from Avon simply pretty lip gloss which is not that sticky
  • staying power is not that long just stayed on me for about less than 2hrs but you can blame me hehe I keep on biting my lips
Enumerating the cons of this product will make you think why I still like it, well the pros still outweighs it. I just love the color it gives on my lips, with the shimmer and the right shade of pink, I feel like I'm a sweet lil' girl LOL!

Let me end you with a FOTD of me with my favorite pink lip gloss (as of the moment hehe!)
A vain shot of me in our office's ladies room haha, forgive me please!

Girls, I swear my contact lenses don't appear like that in person, it just turned blue because of the camera's flash..huhu! When I bought the lenses, my suking optical shop had ran out of my usual transparent lenses, no brown as well, they only have green, blue, gray and violet and that's violet by the way! (haha nag explain!) It just looks normal in person not that bluish hehe!

Anyway if you want to get these Nyx round lip gloss or any other Nyx products you can visit Ms. Sol's online store at Digital Traincase. She is very accommodating with super fast transactions.

Until next time pretty ladies.

My first Make up and Hair Styling Job

The title is quite deceiving, you might think it will be a gig or something like that hehe, well nothing biggie! Last weekend I have been asked by my niece to do her make up and curl her short hair for she will be attending their Graduation Ball. Geez, I remember she's like Tabachuchay before and now she just finished Elementary, how old am I?! So yeah I was excited and bit nervous for I will be doing hair and make up and I know that this is really important for her so it is a must to make her more beautiful. I don't have much tools and products to be a make up artist but that's okay, I guess I don't need a complicated make up for her anyway since she has a very young and flawless skin. So here's a picture of me doing her make up:

Sorry for the oily face and bulky tummy! :(

So the result?

The whole look:

Well, she liked it. (She doesn't have a choice anyway hehe) I asked her for like a hundred times about the make up, if it's nice, if she likes it, if she prefers this or that etc. I am really worried that it won't end up okay but I guess I did an acceptable one haha! Her make up stayed the whole night. (I just based it on her fb pics) I gave her a lip gloss so she can retouch after eating dinner. I just used moisturizer, mineral foundation (very minimal) eye make up, blush on, lip gloss and shimmery lipstick, we skipped the eyeliner and mascara because she doesn't like them. I just made the look light with a bit shimmers. I wanted to put bronzer on her but so sad that I still don't have that in my mini stash yet. Now I know what to buy next. I will be posting a make up wish list sometime. Oh too many make up wishes, hope I can buy them. Maybe one a time.

Hope you like her look pretty ladies.

How's your summer?

I am sure most of you have big plans for this summer already. Maybe Bora, Bohol, Cebu, Palawan, CDO, Batangas, Subic and so on.( these places are in my summer getaway checklist and have only been to Bora and Subic hehe) Anyway for tabachuchay here's her summer:

She just loves water!

Last year when I gave birth we didn't have a grand summer vacation unlike my other summers but I don't regret it though because being a mom is super awesome. So now me and the hubby is still planning on where to go this April but not considering taking a plane or super long hours of driving because having a 1-year old baby with you on the trip will not be that fun so maybe we are just thinking on going to Batangas which is nearer to Laguna or maybe Puerto Galera, but still having second thoughts about this one because it will require us and Tabachuchay to ride a roro. I also want to go to Anawangin, Zambales but it's not advisable to go there with a kid because you will have a hiking and camping scenario there. No resorts not even a public restroom, it will be a pure nature trip. It's a bit hard to decide especially when you are considering a kid with you, so I guess will just have to buy a bigger pool and swim with her, hehe just kidding. It's not really a priority for us to go somewhere this summer but I'd love to if we can. Maybe we'll just end up in Splash Island hehe. What I'm excited about is my trip to Zamboanga City this May with my 2 best friends and our family Bora vacation this November with my in laws. I guess that time Tabachuchay will be much easier to tag along on a trip.

How about you pretty ladies out there, where are you going to spend your summer?

What I'm using now?

Revlon Colorstay Mineral Mousse Foundation 020:
This is my first Liquid foundation. When I was planning for tabachuchay's first bday I really opted to do my own make up since I was starting to be addicted in following beauty bloggers, that helped a lot. I thought this is the first thing I should buy. I am really in a budget and was planning to stick to Mineral make ups since my skin is really not well with all the acne marks and scars with occasional break outs not to mention the super sensitive and oily state of it. I was really eyeing for this brand because my mom has a powder foundation from Revlon and I used it twice and my face didn't react. When I was in the counter the SA recommended this, given the condition of my skin.
 Yipee factors:
-Skin felt so soft once applied
-decent coverage - light to medium and very buildable
-feels light on my face
-easy to carry around with the plastic tube
-no whitish cast in photos
-oil control is quite good lasted for 4hrs without retouching (considering my super oily skin and perspiration)
-creamy texture with soft matte finish
-spf 20

Boo factors:
-the black tube that catches dirt easily
-there's a bit scent - can't describe it really hehe
-does not give heavy coverage so a very good conceler is a must on my face but if yours do not require concealing red spots etc this would do it no concealer needed

Overall I like this foundation because it didn't break me out and the soft matte finish it gives to my face is a love love.

Etude House Surprise Essence Concealer:
Before I was using Max Factor concealer stick it was pretty decent in covering my unwanted marks, spots and dark circles but it's cakey so I thought maybe concealer sticks are not for me (hehe just my opinion), then I came across the pink store: Etude House. I was always intrigued with this store, the pink ambiance and the cute SAs that I see with pink aprons so went there and bought this tiny liquid concealer. Now on to the review:

Yipee Factor:
-did not break me out (clap clap)
-nice coverage especially on my red spots
-does not dry up easily, you'll still have time to even it out
-inexpensive for 328 pesos
-the shade fit me, can't remember the number/name of the shade all I know is its the lightest one

Boo Factors:
-there's a stingy scent
-the doe foot applicator- not that sturdy
-the wordings in the tube is in Korean can't read the ingredients etc.
-too small for a concealer again it's just my opinion hehe

Weighing the pros over the cons overall this concealer is still good considering the price, it still gives a good coverage. But I guess I won't repurchase for I want to try other concealer brands. Eyeing on the Revlon colorstay concealer.

In2it blush: Denial
I remember when I was in college there were only two brands of blushes I used: Clinique and In2it since the first brand is way expensive for a college student with an average amount of allowance a month I sticked on the latter one hehe. I can't remember the price of it before. When I was in SM, looking for a nude lipstick to try on I saw the In2it counter and to my surprise there I saw the small blushes that I once used. It was like saying hi to me again, haha it made me reminisce a bit. So on to the swatch:

It's just so sad that the shade I want is out of stock and again the SA suggested that this shade is their best seller and will definitely fit my skin tone. Yep, I still don't know my skin tone especially the NC, NW etc that I always read in beauty blogs referring to Mac's skin guide. I still have to learn and read more on distinguishing your skin tone. I just rely to SAs and by trying it on first then if it looks good on me I buy it.Oh I also ask Zano for a second opinion maybe after 2 years Tabachuchay might be the third opinion hehe.

Yipee factor:
-it looks natural on me
-cute packaging (IMO)
-long wearing it lasted for about 4hrs on my cheeks that's when I'm on the go so I guess it will stay longer if I'm just in the office seating in an airconditioned room hehe, yep I don't wear make up in the office everyday but there are times that I do depends on my mood
-gives a matte finish no shimery effect (I chose to put this here co'z I'm not a fan of glittery or shimmery blushes I always go for matte ones
-inexpensive for 170 pesos - I actually got them on sale but can't remember the regular price
-comes with a small brush, super soft but I can't actually use it, it's too small

Boo factors:
-brush that's so small
-not that pigmented I have to swipe it 3 times or more for it to show off into my cheeks
-hmm can't think of anything else

Overall I like the effect of this blush on my cheeks love the shade too it. Will I repurchase? No, for I am drooling over the super raved about Nars blushes.

Nichido Satin Moist Lipstick in Natural:
I am currently using this one as my everyday lipstick. I love the natural effect on my lips. I feel sexy whenever I wear them. hehe It's just the right shade I want for an everyday use.

Yipee Factor:
-super inexpensive got them on sale for 100 pesos but I think the regular price is around 200 but still not bad eh
-no need to swipe twice or more, one swipe and the color will come out
-creamy texture
-satiny finish
-staying power is quite good maybe 2hrs without eating, drinking or wetting my lips with my tongue hehe

Boo factors:
-can be drying so a good lip balm is a must
-i don't like the packaging hehe
-hmm can't think of anything else

I really love this lipstick on me. Unexpectedly for the price of it, it really satisfied me. Truly there are still cheap make ups that can meet beyond our expectations and this is is one of them.Just sad that I did't buy all the other shades, poor me I was really broke that time :(

'Til my next post pretty ladies!
Pardon for the quality of the pictures need to work with my camera's settings.

My 1st Product Review: Amonche African Black Soap

Why did I chose this to be my pioneer post for a product review? Well, simply because this is my HG soap. I've been using this soap since December and I am really happy with it. I first saw this product from Ms. Shen's blog then googled the distributor, Bare Naturals. What decided me to try it was the location of their store. I'm from Binan, Laguna and the store is just in Muntinlupa so it was pretty near to me. I thought that I can drop by at their store and grab the products rather than ordering online and wait for my package to arrive. Ms. Lami (the distributor) and I had several exchange of emails and she did recommend this soap to me since it has a feature of lightening acne marks.

Got the picture from their site: http://barenaturals.multiply.com/

What it claims: (from their website)
Amonche black soap is specially formulated entirely from ALL natural ingredients. This soap restores damaged skin and is helpful in healing chronic eczema, acne, freckles, and dark spots. Yes it can lighten the skin!

It has a "built-in" makeup cleanser and toner and you are guaranteed everytime that it thoroughly cleanses the skin for impurities.

Made from tropical honey, shea butter, cocoa pod, aloe vera, and other all-natural ingredients. This amazing soap is made to soften skin, heal signs of aging or scarring, and revitalize your skin.

Ingredients: Pure honey, Shea butter, Osun (Camwood), Potassium Palmkernelate, Sodium Palm Kernelate, Glycerine, Aloe Vera, Lime Juice, Lemon Juice, Water and Essential Oils for Fragrance.
It mentioned in their website that the ingredient glycerine attracts water so a good soap dish is a must. I cut the soap into two and until now I'm still on the first half of it. This is my HG soap, it had lighten my acne marks and made my skin soft. Whenever I have my monthly visitor hehe, two or three zits will come out and this soap have saved me from them. I'll just wash my face with it and after 3 days the zits will be gone, even the big and nasty ones (eew)! I used it every morning  and night. It also saved me from some make ups that didn't react well on my face.

Yipee!!! factors:
  • made from natural ingredients
  • lightened my acne marks
  • removes make up
  • inexpensive for the price of 248 pesos
  • it lessen oiliness
  • locally available from barenaturals site
Boo!!! factors:
  • it has a scent that might bother some
  • might melt terribly if not properly stored
  • might cause allergy or pimples to others so it is important to do a patch test first

Overall this is my savior hehe. I am still using this soap and have not failed me so far. I will definitely repurchase.
Hope this helps pretty ladies out there.

Who's Tabachuchay?

When I decided to have my own blog, of course I thought of a blog title. I came up with so many ideas in mind but then nothing amused nor satisfied me. While eating dinner I asked Zano (the hubby), what can be a good blog title, I thought it wouldn't hurt to ask him since he already had an idea that I wanted to have my own blog then he reckon "Tabachuchay's Beauty" still munching loads of rice and fish in his mouth. I laughed at the idea first because mostly of the blog titles that I visit are in English, have sophisticated or beauty related titles. I said "Are you serious?" then he replied "yeah since you are Tabachuchay's mom". Haha, yes that's one of our daughter's nickname and our favorite one I should say, well simply because she is fat, round and super heavy especially when she was around 4-6 months old, she really looks like a ball. We can't stop kissing and cuddling her. She is 1 year and 1 month old now not that round anymore but still our Tabachuchay huhu i miss her already since I'm still here in the office doing my post. I just hope my boss won't read this! :) I will end this post with Tabachuchay's latest picture:

I am now readying my product reviews, watch out for that pretty ladies, but pardon for it since I'm just a newbie! :)

Why Blogging?

It's been almost four months now that I started reading random blogs and have found out about the 'blogging world'. I was really fascinated on how people can speak their minds and tell almost everything they want. It was like a diary or journal of thoughts, experiences and anything under the sun. That's right, I was really that naive when it comes to technology but don't get me wrong I was an I.T. graduate..haha! It might be funny or stupid for some but I guess for me I thought it was not really my thing.

I started visiting different kinds of blogs when I was planning for my daughter's 1st birthday party that I came across parents and girl talk forums and didn't notice that I was directed to various of websites that has 'blogspots' on the URL..hehe then next thing I know I was blog hopping.

I just enjoyed following and reading blogs, first was from mommy blogs then food blogs, and now beauty blogs. I felt like every night I have to go to my computer and read different blogs for the whole night until morning. I was addicted to different beauty blogs from fab bloggers nationwide and worldwide. I discovered make up and instantly made a connection on it. Just a short flashback, way back in high school and college I never had an interest with make up and beauty products because in my entire adolescence stage I was acne prone, to the extent that there's nothing on my face to grow out zits. It's like having an alert of "no more space for new messages" in your cellphone but instead "new pimples" in your face. It was that tragic so I never really had guts to go to any make up counter and try on or swatch on anything that they offer, I felt embarrassed. But now that I am more mature and doesn't really care about others might think hehe and of course gone were the days that I was like a walking pimple though I have a lot of pimple scars and marks but Make up is here to save me!

My blog will tackle more of my life with my cute daughter and loving hubby plus some make up reviews but I won't consider my blog as a beauty blog since I really do not know how to put make up but I am really eager to learn so I think that's a work in progress hehe. I am now starting to buy affordable cosmetics and on my way to the make up and blogging world.Yipee! I hope I can do reviews on some products that will help out pretty ladies out there..
